"TOGETHER WE SAVE MORE LIVES"

The Board of Directors and the Management Team has identified the following values that will set the tone for all ASCOA activities:

We maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical behavior; and value transparency and honesty in our communications, relationships and action. ASCOA will respect the individuality, diversity and professional responsibility of partnering entities and all stakeholders in serving the intended community.

We are strong accountable to the communities we serve and to the donors. We take pride in upholding a strong stewardship, teamwork, and accountability in our endeavor to achieve the Vision and Mission objectives.

We take delight in empowering people in our communities to be self-reliant. We value the importance of identifying where people’s priorities lie and what motivates them. So we start by identifying community leaders in order to establish key contacts between the organization and the community. Then we seek strategies to build people’s capacity, leadership and confidence to take self-reliant actions to improve their lives.

We believe that if people are given better opportunities and made aware; they will be motivated to work towards their own well-being. We inspire and empower our Staff and Volunteers to perform all activities efficiently and competently with adequate training and learning aids on a continuous basis.

We improve awareness and access to information, seeking out major ways in involving the people of the community in projects to solve their own problems. We involve the community in contributing ideas, making decisions and taking responsibilities. All activities will be performed in compliance with ethical practices, ethnicity compliance, legal provisions, and safety standards with utmost competence.
