I have more than a decade of experience in emergency responses, livelihoods, climate resilience and institutional development in Africa (mainly East and West Africa) and South Asia. Being a volunteer in the Environmental Grant Drafting at ASCOA is a great fun for practitioners like me to advance my skills in marine and coastal ecosystem management.

Volunteering for me is basically giving back and, protecting the environment in particular is a cause I really care about. These acquaintances have helped me socialize further with people from different walks of life, build additional skills and create spiritual satisfaction. This is what exactly we need to do in such time of huge uncertainties due to Covid-19 crises.
