My name is Nathan Kwaku Ayesu-Offei, from Ghana – West Africa; and a civil engineer by profession with about 10 years experience in the minerals extraction industry.

My work experience covers environmental management, construction and project management.

I joined the UN Volunteers program in 2014 with the aim of supporting organizations to tackle some of the world’s lingering challenges. Since then I’ve assisted two organizations in that regard.

Joining ASCOA as a volunteer was an easy decision because I’m passionate about environmental protection, healthcare, humanitarianism amongst others which are also focus areas for the organisation.

I feel very privileged to be part of the ASCOA team in tackling many of the challenges the world faces as outlined in the UN SDGs and in particular Cameroon. The organization has a clear vision and committed leadership which makes it rewarding and fulfilling to be supporting in achieving it’s goals and strategies. Looking forward to being part of this team for the longterm and encouraging others to also support through volunteerism.
