My name is Nathan Kwaku Ayesu-Offei, a native of Ghana; and a civil engineer by profession with about 8 years working experience in the minerals extraction industry.
My work currently involves rehabilitation of lands impacted through the operations of my current employer as a means of mitigating any adverse environmental impacts such that conditions existing before commencement of our operations can be restored.
I joined the UN Volunteers program in 2014 with the aim of supporting organizations to tackle some of the world’s lingering challenges. Since then I’ve assisted two organizations in that regard.
I joined ASCOA because I’m passionate about environmental protection, healthcare, humanitarianism amongst others and excited about the opportunity to be part of the team as the organization has visible and clear commitment to confronting some of challenges faced by less privileged members of their society.
