Earth Action Forum 2026
About the Earth Action Forum
An Initiative of the ASCOA Environmental Action Hub (AS-ENACT)
The Earth Action Forum is a flagship annual initiative under the ASCOA Environmental Action Hub (AS-ENACT), created by the Association for Community Awareness (ASCOA). AS-ENACT serves as a collaborative platform that brings together individuals, organizations, researchers, and communities to drive practical environmental action.
Across many communities, environmental challenges such as plastic pollution, poor waste management, and climate change continue to grow. While awareness is increasing, there is still a gap between knowing the problem and taking effective action. The Earth Action Forum was designed to close that gap.
Each year, the forum evolves with a new theme, updated focus areas, and relevant training topics to ensure participants are equipped with current knowledge and practical tools.
Objectives of the Earth Action Forum
Build practical environmental and leadership skills
Strengthen community-driven environmental action
Promote data-driven approaches to waste and pollution management
Encourage collaboration across sectors and communities
Support environmental awareness and advocacy
Develop a network of individuals capable of leading sustainable environmental initiatives

"Strengthening Community Action for the Environment"
The 2026 edition focuses on a central idea: lasting environmental change begins within communities. This year’s forum is designed to equip participants with practical skills that move beyond awareness — focusing on action, coordination, and impact. Participants will learn how to organize environmental activities, collect and use data, understand pollution systems, and lead initiatives that create measurable change.

Why This Forum Matters
Environmental challenges in Cameroon continue to increase due to rapid urbanization, growing waste generation, and limited waste management systems.
Plastic pollution is affecting communities, blocking drainage systems, contributing to flooding, and threatening marine ecosystems.
Although many people are willing to take action, effective solutions require knowledge, structure, and coordination.
The Earth Action Forum 2026 provides a practical learning platform equipping participants with the tools to act, lead, and sustain impact.
