Entrepreneurship Support for Mothers
ASCOA recognizes that mothers can face significant economic and social challenges that affect their ability to provide for themselves and their children. Limited access to employment, business skills, and income-generating opportunities can make it difficult for them to achieve financial independence and build stable futures.
To address these challenges, ASCOA has engaged in entrepreneurship training for mothers in collaboration with Forest Economics Africa Ltd. This initiative reflects our commitment to equipping young mothers with practical knowledge and skills that can help them explore livelihood opportunities, develop entrepreneurial ideas, and work toward greater economic self-reliance. Through entrepreneurship development, ASCOA seeks to encourage mothers to recognize their potential, strengthen their confidence, and consider practical ways of turning their skills and ideas into sustainable sources of income. Such opportunities can contribute to improved household well-being while enabling young mothers to participate more actively in the economic and social development of their communities.
ASCOA remains committed to promoting initiatives that respond to the needs of young mothers and other vulnerable women, working with partners to expand access to relevant training and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
