The Association for Community Awareness (ASCOA) invites its Network Partners to submit proposals for community-based environmental activities in celebration of World Earth Day 2026.
This small-grant opportunity supports grassroots initiatives that mobilize communities to tackle plastic pollution and environmental degradation in key coastal and riverine areas of Cameroon.
Grant Details
- Grant Amount: 350,000 CFA per project
- Number of Grants: 4 (one per location)
Eligible Locations
Activities must take place in one of the following areas:
- Buea River and surrounding communities
- Limbe Coastline
- Douala Coastline
Eligible Activities
Projects may include:
- Beach cleanups
- River cleanups
- Community plastic waste collection
Priority will be given to proposals that demonstrate strong community mobilization and clear environmental impact.
Eligibility
This call is strictly open to active ASCOA Network Partners who have previously collaborated with ASCOA.
Organizations that are not yet part of ASCOA’s network are not eligible to apply for this grant at this time. However, they are encouraged to join the ASCOA Cameroon Beach Cleanup Network by completing the network registration form to become part of future environmental initiatives and opportunities.
