The Association for Community Awareness (ASCOA) will join the Molyko New Layout community, on Wednesday, 7 October 2026, as part of the Make Buea Clean Again initiative led by the Divisional Officer in collaboration with the Regional Delegation of Environment, Southwest Region.
The initiative brings together communities, organizations and other stakeholders to take practical action towards a cleaner and healthier Buea.
As part of its participation, ASCOA will mobilize its team to work alongside community members in cleaning a selected area within Molyko New Layout. The activity will also create an opportunity to engage residents on responsible waste management and the wider effects of pollution on human health, water, soil and local ecosystems.

The activity will begin at 7:00 AM and will bring together ASCOA team members and community volunteers.
For ASCOA, keeping Buea clean is not only about removing waste. It is also about encouraging communities to take ownership of their surroundings and building everyday habits that prevent waste from returning to the same spaces.
