I would be very happy to continue working with ASCOA

During the past 12 weeks I have had the pleasure of working as a United Nations Online volunteer. I first approached the program during lockdown when I was looking for ways in which I could use the time I would usually be spending at work to help others. That is when I came across the Association for Community Awareness (ASCOA) which operates in South West Cameroon.

I am very happy to have had the opportunity to work closely with them, they are a hardworking and committed team who do their very best to support the health and wellbeing of local communities. I feel as if I was able to contribute to the work done by the organization but, most importantly, I was able to meet a committed team of people and hear first-hand about the projects which are being carried out on a local level to meet the needs of fellow citizens. I would recommend this experience to others who are thinking of volunteering and would be very happy to continue working with this association in the future.
