The Association for Community Awareness (ASCOA), in collaboration with FXB Climate Advocates, invites young people to Starting Your Climate Journey, an interactive online webinar designed to inspire the next generation of climate leaders.
The session will feature Karina Weinstein, Director of Sustainability and Climate Change at FXB Global, who will introduce participants to climate change, youth engagement, and opportunities available through the FXB Climate Advocates programme. Che Divine Nsoh, Development and Human Resource Officer at ASCOA, will share his personal climate journey and highlight how ASCOA is advancing environmental protection and climate action in Cameroon. Ngwa Rhoda, a youth climate and health advocate, will explore the connection between climate change and public health, offering a perspective on emerging youth leadership.
Through personal experiences, practical insights, and an interactive discussion, participants will discover ways to begin their own climate journeys, contribute to community action, and connect with others who share their interests.
Beyond the webinar, participants will also have the opportunity to express interest in a youth forum focused on mentorship, networking, and sharing climate-related opportunities, helping young people continue learning and growing beyond the session.
